The Farmstead at Mine Brook is home to Goat Rising and Jersey Maid cheeses. Our Jersey cow herd with a world renown, world class reputation carries on a legacy of breeding & managing some of the finest Jersey breeding cattle the world has known since 1971. Purebred Nubian goats are complimented by a flock of laying hens which are kept to round out its production base. For sale in our retail store you'll find a line of both Nubian goat and Jersey cow milk products, cheeses, raw milk, cream and ice cream of uncompromised quality. Many of these products can also be found at it’s sister store, Curtis Country Store, one mile from the farmstead. |

The Farmstead of Mine Brook and its master cheese maker, John Miller, have taken a step back in time to create “old school” handcrafted cheeses of uncompromised quality. We also sell raw milk, our own homemade ice cream and family made maple syrup. |

Goat Rising is successfully marketing its own line of handmade Nubian goats' milk soap, fudge and cheese. Bakery items, gourmet chocolates, farm fresh eggs and fresh nearly organic vegetables are also available in season. |
